Gentile Racing Engines – Built on Legacy, Fueled by Passion, Driven by Performance.

Gentile Racing Started in the early 1960’s with my father Joseph “Joe” Gentile. In 1965 He went into business by opening a gas station/ repair shop. He started his race/street rod engine building in the back room for customers and friends. At 7 years old in 1978 I was in the shop with my dad helping him and learning from him. My job was to wash parts and keep the shop clean, while watching and learning what I could. By 8 I was hands on helping my dad back half his box nova now famous to most of Long Island as “Strictly Business” My Father was my mentor, and I was by his side like his shadow making sure I didn’t miss a thing. He taught me how to build an engine, 4 speed Transmissions, Rearends, and welding at a young age doing roll cages and back halves. This was a part time gig for my dad Joe and me for 45 years along with me working for multiple mainstream engine shops through the years, balancing cranks, running a dyno, machine work, and engine assembly. It has become a full-time passion of mine, and I have made it into what my father and I always wanted it to be. A family-oriented business. 46 years in the making, us here at Gentile Racing Engines and performance shop specialize in custom engine building (track and street), Roll cages, Rear end gear changes, and most everything in the performance world. We are upgrading daily, and always adding new machines to our shop such as Lath, Bridgeport, etc. All welding gear and supplies needed to MIG or TIG weld. We also carry parts ready for purchase as well as ready to order, special orders and basic needs. Our prices are competitive with the Store fronts and big-name shops. All parts can be installed on premises as well.
